Mystery Android MID caught on video, identified as Rockchip concept

Before one more site identifies the unknown Android MID as the SMiT MID-560, which it obviously isn’t, I’d like to officially announce that the touchscreen device is indeed just a concept created by Chinese chip maker Rockchip to show off its new RK2808 720p-decoding chipset. This is exactly what Pocketables reader sere83 suggested two weeks ago (see this comment), when my tipster sent in the first set of images that started this wild goose chase, and today PConline has confirmed it with some new photos and two videos of the 5-inch slate in action. In the videos below, you’ll see demos of the UI, on-screen keyboard, web browsing, scrolling, and multiple window interface

La porta dock di iPhone e iPod Touch è sicuramente una grande comodità perchè tramite un solo connettore potete utilizzare un’infinità di accessori, ricaricare il terminale e soprattutto interfacciarlo con un PC o un Mac. Ma spesso la comodità di avere un solo cavo e non portarsi dietro milioni di accessori, oppure il fatto di possederli già per un dispositivo che avete acquistato in precedenza ma che ora non risulta più compatibile per un semplice fatto di interfaccia, supera la convenienza della dock. Ed è qui che entra in gioco la PocketDock di Sendstation

Galaxy vs. Magic – Sfida tra robottini Android!

Vi riportiamo un video confronto tra Samsung Galaxy e HTC Magic, due terminali che stanno registrando vendite davvero imponenti (siamo arrivati oltre il milione di esemplari venduti nel caso del Magic, e oltre 100.000, ma è uscito da meno tempo, nel caso del Galaxy) e che hanno un hardware piuttosto buono (tra l’altro, il medesimo, RAM e processore sono configurati allo stesso modo). Ciò che cambia dunque sono le personalizzazioni dei produttori, l’estetica e soprattutto lo schermo: sotto quest’ultimo aspetto, vince alla stragrande il Galaxy, grazie al suo ampio AMOLED.
