MIUTech HDPC gets redesigned and upgraded

After a brief moment of looking like it went out of business when it was supposed to be in the US meeting with potential investors, Korean company MIUTech has re-emerged with the fourth iteration of its HDPC (hybrid dual portable computer) since 2006. And not only is the 10.3-ounce device looking more stylish than ever before, but it’s got a fully upgraded set of specs to match its new design as well. Since inception, the HDPC (sometimes referred to as MIU Phone) has always made the most of the “D” in its name: it has two operating systems, two screens, two keypads, and two processors.

“Rachael”: il primo Sony Ericsson con Android?

Nel sito di news sulla telefonia mobile Mobil.nu – la versione norvegese di Mobil.se, il sito a cui ho fatto riferimento in passato per delle notizie sull’Omnia HD – sono state pubblicate le prime immagini e alcune caratteristiche di quello che dovrebbe essere il primo terminale della Sony Ericsson equipaggiato con il sistema operativo Google Android . Il nome in codice è “ Rachael ” e, in base alle dotazioni hardware riportate nel sito norvegese, risulterebbe al momento il dispositivo con Android più avanzato e potente. Fino ad oggi lo era il Samsung I7500, ma le specifiche del cellulare della Sony Ericsson, almeno sulla carta, lo hanno spodestato

Sembra proprio che anche Sony Ericsson sia particolarmente interessata al sistema operativo Android. E’ notizia di ieri, infatti, che presto arriverà un nuovo smartphone, dal nome in codice Rachael, che monterà il sistema operativo sviluppato da Big G. In base alle notizie rilasciate per il momento, sembra che questo Rachael diventerà lo smartphone con Android più potente sul mercato: chipset Snapdragon QSD8250 della Qualcomm core processor con clock rate fino a 1 GHz supporto per l’HSPA fino a 7.2 Mbps acceleratore grafico 3D (fino a 22M triangoli/sec e 133M 3D pixel/sec) fotocamera da 8 megapixel con autofocus jack per le cuffie da 3.5 mm presa mini-USB touch screen (non si conoscono ancora le dimensioni)
